How to Make IDM Compatible with Firefox 7



Most of the people use IDM (Internet Download Manager) to download files from internet. No doubt, IDM is a great software and is much better than other such applications. One of the best thing about IDM is, it integrates itself to all the browsers. However, recent upgrade of Mozilla Firefox makes IDM incompatible to Firefox 7. This has been happening since the release of Firefox 3. The reason behind this bug is, Mozilla team is unable to find the update of the Internet Download Manager addon for IDM.

Anyways, good news is IDM does support the latest Firefox 7 but you have to manually install the updated and compatible IDM addon. I have come up with a very simple yet useful tip that makes IDM compatible to Mozilla Firefox 7.


How to make IDM compatible with Firefox 7

  • Download IDM Extension for Firefox 7 from here
  • A message will appear on your Firefox. Click "Allow" to download this extension
  • Now, click "Install" and then allow Firefox to restart
  • Thats it! Now IDM will be integrated successfully with Firefox 7.

How to Lock Folder Without Any Software

There are lot of ways to lock folders on computer. But in this article we going to showing you, how to lock folder without any software. it's very easy to protect your valuable folders and you can enhance your folder secure. In the earlier we mentioned, how to protect USB drive, that method is using USB Secure software. But in this tutorial no need to use any software. Just adding batch code in notepad.


How To Lock Folder Using Notepad

1. Open Notepad file.
2. Copy the below code and Paste it in notepad.

In the above batch code we added password is 123456789, and you can change that password.
3. Now save the notepad file as yourname.bat , (see below) 

4. Now a batch file will created in where you saved location.

5. Open that batch file, at the same time you will see Locker folder, 
6. Now store your personal files like pictures, videos, documents, etc... 
7. Once again open batch file to lock the stored file in folder. Now press Y and press Enter.

8. Now your folder will be invisible and protected. but batch file be there.
When you want to unlock the folder, then again open batch file and enter your password
